COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I've done it once. When I was in Japan, I didn't have places to stay. I had to find couchsurfers in a train station and one person kindly accept me staying at his place. that was really nice experience. He treated me really well and I could eat Japanese homemade cuisine and talk about our interests for hours. really precious :D
