Hi, my name is Jildau and I am living in the Netherlands.
I am a Dutch artist creating paintings, video art and installation. I graduated at my Masters in Fine Art in Painting last June and in the past years I have been working on exhibitions and creating artworks for public space. Next to the arts, I am interested in sports, philosophy, spiritual traditions, crafts and I like to be in nature a lot. I consider my self a calm and open human being with broad interests. I am always up for an adventure and curious to meet people and their way of living.

From April 9 I will travel through Japan for six weeks. It's my plan to walk the Kumano Kodo pilgrim route. Before and after this walk I would like to visit several spots and I would be very happy to meet people in cities like Tokio, Osaka and Kyoto, and other beautiful places I haven't heard of yet.

From August until November I will be traveling to The Baltics to develop a new art project. Looking forward!

I have had really nice experiences staying with hosts in Germany and Japan, I met beautiful and inspiring people
