Interests

Happy smiling people grab my attention, single or in groups.
I spend my time walking, watching movies, reading, visiting with friends, having dinner parties, helping friends out with kids, house cleaning, moving, garage sales, beach combing, mountain hiking. Joseph read several of the Game of Thrones books to me recently. I loved that, being read aloud too. I spend a lot of time cooking. I like to try new things, create some and perfect old standbys. It is so great that Joseph cleans the kitchen. I like cooking all kinds of cuisines, Indian, Mexican, Italian...macrobiotic, vegan, vegetarian, even a nice rare steak once in a while. Oh, I like harvesting wild and native plants for foods, teas and medicines. Right now I am reading the Dancing Wu Li Masters, a book on quantum mechanics. My interests are very wide. Eco-building techniques, helped build an earth-ship and an earth-bag house. Have enjoyed contra dancing, playing guitar at local blue grass jam; I am a novice. I could go on and on.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The clouds over my head most every day.
The ice formations on the local beach, different every time I go, much like the sky.
