Overview
About Me
I'm a 24-year old recent college graduate who is taking a sort of gap half-year. I have worked since I was 14 and went straight from high school to college to graduate school and I want to see a little more of the world before I enter the corporate world. Sorry that I don't have a couch to share currently, as I am living with my mom as a home base, but once I have a couch, I would certainly be willing to meet some interesting travelers!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I'm traveling to Rome in about a month, and have a week free afterwards, where I want to explore! I'm willing to train or fly about, I'm just looking for a friendly face to show me around some cool places.
Interests
I currently live on the east coast of Florida, so I'm used to very hot weather and flat land. I enjoy swimming in any body of water (except lakes, those tends to have alligators here) as well as paddle boarding and kayaking. I love to hike when in a different place, as hiking here is mostly sandy, and I generally just enjoy exploring.
In my free time, I enjoy reading, cooking, watching TV shows and movies, and playing with my dog.

Music, Movies, and Books
Music: It is a wide range, but some of my current favorites include Twenty One Pilots, Muse, Death Cab, Britney Spears, Frank Sinatra, and Otis Redding
Movies: I tend to be more into TV shows than movies, because you can get more invested in the characters, but some of my favorite movies include all the Harry Potter films, Star Wars new and old, Tangled, It's a Wonderful Life
Books: I love sci-fi and fantasy! I'm really into the Star of the Morning series, as well as the Outlander series. I'm currently working on the Songs of Ice and Fire by Mr. Martin. I'm also a big Jane Austen fan.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
When I think of what I find amazing, I think of the strength I've seen in my friends and family during difficult times in their lives. So I've done some amazing things that way, but that is very personal.
One interesting thing I've done was snorkel with barracuda, which was slightly exhilarating.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I have an easy going demeanor, and a good sense of humor. I can also share recipes or just stories. I make a mean zucchini-crust pizza!
