About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Live in the moment, be a nice person and see where that takes me

ABOUT ME

Young open minded traveller from England. I am currently reading Geography at Lancaster University (England) and I am based in Corvallis, (Oregon) completing a study abroad year. I like to think I am polite, generous and always take my sense of humour wherever I end up in the world. I love music, sport and people.

PHILOSOPHY

Always carry a sense of humour, politeness and be appreciative.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I want to use CS to meet locals around the world and get their perspective and passions for their community. In return for people's generosity, I hope to give people the same insight where ever I end up. Being geographer I am always looking for connections, correlations and ways of searching for development in light of problems facing humanity.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

None, lets get this shit going.

Interests

Honestly, I love people with stories. People who have been in dangerous situations or have taken an interest in world affairs. People who are ambitious and like to think big. People who are kind and polite. People who are themselves.

In terms of how I spend my time. Being a student mainly with lots of sport and banter thrown in!

Music, Movies, and Books

TOO many to say. The good earth by Pearl Buck is a good start

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

1) Being a porter for the day on Mt Kilimanjaro. Tougher than climbing the mountain itself but great to look back on.
2) Travelled alone across the US via the trains. Met some amazing/interesting people with amazing stories from across the world.
3) Travelling solo through Morocco and up to Spain via bus, train, boat and plane. Again met some amazing people.

Teach, Learn, Share

Pretty clued up on geography, politics and current affairs . I learn from everyone.

Countries I’ve Visited

Austria, Belgium, Canada, Finland, France, Greece, Iceland, Ireland, Italy, Kenya, Morocco, Spain, Switzerland, Tanzania, Turkey, United States

Countries I’ve Lived In
