ABOUT ME

I am a singer, songwriter and guitarist. I am live east of Austin and play everywhere from Catfish Night at Maxine's in Bastrop to Happy Hour at the historic Driskill Hotel. I am starting to travel farther to play, including dates in Fredricksburg. I will be looking for couch surfing situations in a 100 mile radius of Austin so I can go out an play 2-night engagements.

Interests

I am a writer and editor, I am interested in politics and culture, movies, art, literature, science, medicine, astronomy and physics. I am well read and educated, ten years as a college professor, I do editing for pieces printed in major blogs (Huffington Post). Was a well known, reviewed and celebrated theatrical composer and sound designer for years, worked on Broadway and at The Kennedy Center, composed music for hundreds of major regional theatrical productions. Singer/songwriter is my retirement job. I am 61

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have been awestruck so many times I cannot possibly pick 2 or 3 instances I have watched a brilliant actor in rehearsal, I have played with amazing musicians, I have watched my children being born, I have seen my picture on Broadway Marquee, I have heard a fantastic singer perform a song I wrote.
