I'm Jimmy. A college student working towards an English major, looking to go back to Japan to teach English in the Kansai region. I went to Tokyo by myself over the summer of 2014 as my first experience with international travel, and I absolutely cannot get back sooner. I'm going back and forth as many times as I can, looking to make as many connections as I can, and see as much of the country (and other countries) as I can. At the moment, I cannot accept guests unfortunately, however, I will eventually be able to once I start to live on my own.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Japan is expensive, and I'd like to save as much money as possible, to ensure that I can go back many times in the future. If I can provide a place for others to stay, then that's all the better.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I left the United States for the first time with only an intermediate grasp on Japanese by myself to spend a few weeks in Tokyo. From an objective standpoint, it maybe should have been a fairly uncomfortable and unpleasant experience, but I managed to get along very well, and ended up having an unbelievable, and problem free trip.

Anything I can offer. I can help with English, cook, clean, etc. I'm good with animals, children, and will do whatever I can to make it a pleasant experience for both of us.
