I'm Jill from Taiwan. It's been a while since last time i met a CSer because of the work. Now finally have a short break to visit new places and meet new friends.
I've been in a small town surrounded by mountains for almost 7 yrs. This place is the origin of black tea in Taiwan since Japanese colonial period. Being in a place full of tea tempts me to start the research of the relationships between the elderly and this land. Also makes me start to be obsessed with black tea. From university to community, I still love hanging around among farms, mountains, bookstores, small eating places, cafes.
Like a lot of people, i'm also interested in coffee, food, music, movies, different culture, and new experience. Food and drinks are always the best way to know a new place. (And, of course, getting lost is too.) I don't mind to cook the food we like to eat in Taiwan, if you're okay with stinky tofu and century eggs. (Joking, I actually don't know how they make these.) Traveling and meeting people from the different culture makes me rethink our own Taiwan, and trying to be open-minded to difference.
Now i'm more like a country person than a city girl( I was born in Kaohsiung), excited to my trip to Kyuchu, Japan. The trip would be flexible, from mid April to mid May, 2016. I'd like to stop for few more days for fun and beautiful things and spots.
