About Me

I'm an Korean contemporary artist planning to move to Los Angles this summer! For my graduate studies of art. I am also participating in a theater group in korea with my videos. Now traveling with my friend(male) in Europe for 3weeks and we are finding our final place to stay! We started in Italy Venice to see the Biennale, and Swiss to see the Art fair in Basel, and Berlin to see my freinds, and Kassel for the Documenta 14, and then Muenster for the Skulpture Project. What an art trip!! Haha Anyways I have a dog, love to make weird noises, love to meet people and have a deep conversation, love to exchange the different views.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

When we ran out of our budget,,, we heard the thing of Couchsurfing and it was like a shining light.. (!) Besides we love to meet people and talk talk talk(even though our English is not that perfect) and exchanging different perspectives is always amazing.

my recent artwork is about the relationship between Siri(AI in the iphone) and human. So, post-human and the human's reaction to the technology etc. will be my interest. Also the feminism.

Music, Movies, and Books

I used to be a fan of Sigur ros, Tom York, redhotchillipeppers and also the indie bands in Korea. But now listening all types of music. My friend is a fan of K-pop and Shibuya-Kei, so we can also talk about that!
We were enthusiastic with the movie 'Get out(2017)', 'Ebangelion', recently. And definitely Tarantino's film.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have traveled with my whole family(mom, dad, older sister,me and my younger sister) in Europe and Africa for 4 month!
