I'm an opera singer who is establishing her career. In addition I love to travel, experience people and culture, and try new things. I'm on a mission to experience places, not just visit!

ABOUT ME

I say what I am thinking. I used to write newsletters and then a short lived blog about my unique perspective on life. Most folks find me entertaining but I don't try to be funny, that quality in others drives me bonkers. I like the great outdoors but I'm a city girl at heart.

PHILOSOPHY

I live my life as someone who does drama for a living but doesn't want it or perpetuate it when I go home at night. I'm a very straightforward and I sincerely hope for honesty and directness in return- life is too short to get lost in confusion and wishing someone would read your mind. I also believe that there is good in just about everybody and you just have to be patient to find it.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I haven't surfed through this website yet but I once stayed with a stranger family in Salt Lake City while looking at a grad school out there. They were awesome. I currently couch surf between family and friends while traveling around the Chicagoland area for my gigs.

I like mystery/thriler books (Douglass Preston/Lincoln Child books, James Rollins, Matthew Reilly)
Movies- I like sci-fi, action thrillers, comedy. Occasionally something romantic, but I prefer older movies in that genre rather than newer. I've been cited as having "guy" taste in movies.
Music: I hate answering this question. I love a ton of stuff.

Eine tolle Erfahrung, die ich gemacht habe

Traveled to Budapest on a whim- I didn't know the language, where I'd stay, or what I'd do, I just bought a ticket. I got to see the opera "Die Fledermaus" sung in German but the dialogue was in Hungarian. It rocked.

I could teach you how to sing or a little bit of how to play piano. I'm also a very organized person and can help other people get organized in their ideas, their writing, or just their stuff.
