I work for a New Zealand travel company and I get to travel all around the UK, Europe and Scandinavia representing them to Tour Operators. Pretty much the best job in the world to be honest!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

JO - Right now I cannot participate in offering a couch as I have just moved back to the UK (with my job) and am staying with my parents. However, come later summer, I will be back and forth to my house in Spain and can offer 2 double bedrooms.

Lorraine - Is currently on a round the world year long trip and cannot offer anything until 2011. She will then have a couch in her Paris apartment.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

No experience but hosted to many friends whilst I have lived overseas (Spain was a madhouse of guests!)I worked in hospitality for years so know how to be a great host. I am also a great cook/chef

Interests

Travelling!! Anything outdoors, anything new, ANYTHING!
Love cooking and entertaining, meeting new people and experiencing all that life has to offer.

Music, Movies, and Books

Like all types of music, no particular genre but not a huge fan of rap.
Books - for the beach and bed - anything trashy that takes me to another place. For learning - Inspirational, autobiography, actually, i will have a go at reading anything. I love books. Books are my favourite gift to give and receive.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Hiked a New Zealand glacier, trekked a Spanish gorge, scaled a Thai mountain and surfed an Australian sand dune!! Plus much more and hopefully many more to come.
