ABOUT ME

She's reliable, responsible, loves to travel, knows how to enjoy simple things, takes difficulties in stride. She's curious, good at languages, interested in local cultures wherever she goes. She's normally more of a morning person than a night owl, but on vacation sleep is secondary to experience.

Interests

I enjoy my work as a freelance graphic designer. I like design challenges and love to collaborate with clients at work and with colleagues and friends on artistic projects. I can't remember when was the last time I felt bored. I play ukulele to relax at the end of a work day. Walking is among my favorite things to do -- exploring a new (or even a familiar) city, hiking a mountain trail, walking on the beach.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I traveled all over Mexico alone in the '80s (before the current troubles in that beautiful country). Along with 3 or 4 others, chartered a small plane to visit Mayan ruins in the jungle bordering Guatemala (totally amazing).
Hiking the crater at the top of Haleakala (Maui), which I've done many times is always mind-blowing -- especially on overnight trips, when the stars and planets seem close neigh to touch.
When I was 20, I traveled from Ontario, Canada across the U.S. on a motorcycle. Many awe-inspiring moments on that trip!
