I always shower with music on, something about it brings my inner rockstar to life.
A few years ago I moved to Lisbon to study Computer Engineering but also to be able to eat pizza and ice cream for breakfast. Worth it.
I really enjoy meeting new people and most of all making new friendships through the adventures we experience together. Being adventurous and spontaneous is intrinsic to my personality.
I'd say I'm also pretty chill, I love drinking a beer by the beach and having a conversation while the sun sets over the Atlantic. I live 2 minutes away from one the best beaches in Portugal so that helps with that.
Traveling is one of my passions and couchsurfing is an awesome tool to get to know interesting people from all over the globe while staying in the same place! It definitely makes me feel like I’m out there traveling again and it helps break the everyday routine of Uni.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

To meet new friends from all over the world, to learn about their culture, country and them.
To have fun, smile, laugh, hug, exchange views on philosophy of life, talk about crickets and toilet paper, see sunsets and most of all to share the feeling of happiness!

Interests

Basketball, downhill biking, snowboarding even though I don't do it as often as I wish.
All my life I've lived near the beach so being out in Nature and simple living is really a part of my identity, I love to have interesting conversations, or just having a few moments of silence, in my opinion that's the biggest way to tell if two people are comfortable with each other.
Sometimes I enjoy going out at night and making a fool of myself and just have fun while showing off my amazingly awkward dance moves or having long conversations over a glass of wine. Anything goes, whatever situation I find myself in, I adapt. I'm like that pokemon, Ditto. Kudos if you know it

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

-I've climbed the French Alps, the highest mountain in Portugal, two volcanoes and I peed into one of them. Yes, I peed into an active volcano. Yes, I have photos hahaha

-My first big trip alone started when I had just turned 19, spontaneously bought a plane ticket to Barcelona, depart time was around 8 am... I bought it at 10pm of the previous day. Ended up backpacking to the Netherlands, managed to hitchhike in France and had the best adventure I could wish for, met amazing people and formed great friendships. It helped me a lot to see how big and amazing this great adventure we call life truly is!

-I started hosting couchsurfers!

-One day when I was 16 and supposedly on my way to meet my friends, tired of routine this thought came to my head: "Anything is possible right now, I can make this day the most wonderful adventure ever".
And so I did by catching a train to the other end of Portugal, just because I felt like an adventure was needed in my life. I guess it was at that time I caught the travelling bug...
My parents weren't too happy about that, but I was, on that day I even met a girl that would end up being my girlfriend for the next couple of months.

-I've also gotten in a real bad car crash when I was a child, and miraculously survived. Ended up with a scar near my eye which makes me look badass, specially when I tell girls it's from wrestling with a shark while surfing in Tasmania.
