HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I participate in this project because I'd like to meet people from all over the world and show them the city where I grew up, Groningen. I'll try to make them feel at home in the Netherlands.

Besides that, I'll try to see the world in an other perspective. I don't think that we are as individualistic as some people say, that we are willing to help each other. And that's why I will travel by hitchhiking and coachsurfing.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

Most wonderful experience was in Ghana, 2009.
After a few months living as an expat in Accra, Ghana. I decided that I didn't want to leave before helping the poor people a little. That's why a started a charity project at the orphanage in Ayikuma and organised a christmas dinner for the school children and with some money from family and friends I was able to buy a polytank, books and musquito nets. They were very happy, and so was I.
