My name is Jochen and I grew up in Germany. During my college days I went to South Africa and Namibia and lived there for 1 1/2 years. I then stayed for 6 months in Holland before I started working for a wind turbine manufacturer. That job brought me to Egypt where I stayed on and off for two years. I now live in Portland, Orgeon. I have a beautiful wife and two children, 1 and 6.

Interests

My passion is water sports and I have actively practiced scuba diving, ocean sailing, SUP, surfing, windsurfing (20years) and kite boarding. The latter is still my favorite. I like to be outdoors in general and do a bit of MTB. I built my own RV from a delivery truck which consumes my evenings when I have nothing better to do. Yoga and running keeps me healthy.
