CURRENT MISSION

My current mission is to explore several places and cultures, combined with the study of languages. Not only for professional reasons, but also to develop my personality and my view on the world, cultures, ... to place everything into perspective.

ABOUT ME

I am a social person, who is eager to learn about foreing languages and cultures. I am constantly challenging myself and my surroundings to obtain a rich, social life.

PHILOSOPHY

The most horrible thought is, when you lie on your death-bed, that you realize that you regret that you missed out on some things in life.
A human being is inherently limited. For example, by nature: you can't move your wrist as you like, there are boundries to that joint. A second example is the complexity of society: we have to obey some rules, to achieve a harmonious society. Considering all these boundries, it's very unnecessary to set other boundries. Einstein's quote therefore fits me well: "Logic will bring you from A to B, imagination will take you anywhere."

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

The CS Project is very admireable to get people who want to change their view on the world or to learn about other cultures in touch.
At the moment it's not that evident to host someone who is visiting Belgium, but I will try my best when people contact me.
