About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Man seeks lonely couch to share experiences with good souls whilst travelling around the world

ABOUT ME

First time couchserver looking to embrace new cultures and make memorable stories with good folks.
I am half Moroccan (love Marrakesh) and half English with a thirst to always try new things. I have been travelling round south east Asia for 2 months and now going to travel around oz starting in Melbourne. Loved Vietnam and the smiley people of Cambodia who I could not stop waving at like a happy child.
I love to cook, play sport, climb anything high and have a strange love for monkeys. But most of all I am an easygoing and down to earth guy who appreciates good friends and people in my life. I would love to repay the favour and host my couch one day in England to you fellow suffers.
Enlighten me to the couchsurfering world please.

PHILOSOPHY

Seize the day and it's always better to regret something you've done than something you haven't. I consider myself a very positive chap and never take myself seriously.

I have no time for bad Manners, rude and negative people. There are too many good people I would rather spend my time with...

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Sorry I am a couchsurfing virgin.

Only time I unofficially surfed was when I hosted some friends of a friend in marrakesh. I can now call them good friends.

Interests

I get bored of things quickly so love doing new things all the time. For example did some volunteering in an orphanage in Siem reap, got my open water diving in koa toa and now got the taste for it, currently teaching myself spainish and did a language course in Valencia last summer. Love sport and as a proud Englishman I an getting excited with the olympics next year. Applied to be a
volunteer as I would love to be a part of it.

Music, Movies, and Books

My music taste is so varied (dislike R&B.... I just don't get it).

Love: the chemical brothers, the cure, jimmy Hendrix, plan b, the doves, air, the beach boys, daft punk, joy division.

Not much of a movie man. Watching the wire at the moment which is absorbing.

Love reading non-fiction books. Currenly reading: the man who cycled the world

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

On this trip I was snorkelling with turtles in malyasia has been a highlight.

This year running the London marathon was an incredible feeling once I crossed the line. I promised myself never again when I finished but I now want to do the Marrakesh one in 2012.

Cambodia, Costa Rica, Croatia, Czech Republic, Estonia, France, Germany, Italy, Latvia, Malaysia, Morocco, Netherlands, Portugal, Singapore, Viet Nam
