I'm a college student studying Anthropology with a focus on narrative medicine. In the future, I'd like to pursue medicine but for now I'm working on writing, baking, and traveling.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm a poor college student, but I'm very respectful and open to new situations. All of the above plus a desire to travel makes couchsurfing an excellent option.

Interests

-Baking pastries and writing my own recipes. I'm a big fan of fun/funky/eclectic flavor combinations with traditional techniques.

-Writing a book. It's an anthology of essays of interesting places and peoples I've encountered.

-Eating. Thai food, Mexican food, seafood, desserts...I'm actually open to almost any food!

-Singing. I'm a classically trained pianist but my voice can go anywhere.

Music, Movies, and Books

Books: The Spirit Catches You and You Fall Down, One Hundred Years of Solitude, Bossypants, The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time, and The Time Machine. Don't get a lot of free time to read so I default to essays by EB White when I get the chance.

Movies: Bridesmaids, The Devil Wears Prada, Date Night, The Help, Howl's Moving Castle, and Spirited Away. I could watch Miyazaki films for dayssss.

Music: Sara Bareilles, Lauren Aquilina, Jessie J, Michael Giacchino, Marina & The Diamonds, Debussy, and Yiruma. Mostly acoustic female vocalists or movie soundtracks.

TV: Grey's Anatomy, How to Get Away With Murder, Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt, Pushing Daisies, Sense8, 30 Rock, Scandal, Criminal Minds and Bones.
