Engineer from Detroit and med student from Texas taking a week off to travel and hike.
I love meeting new people, figuring out how things work and why things are the way they are, and exploring amazing places.
When I'm not traveling, I am living to make a difference in Detroit - a city that needs help.

PHILOSOPHY

I live to make a difference anywhere I am at, loving others. I place a high priority on my close friendships and making people feel welcome! If I have more than others, it's all the more reason for me to give.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music - I listen to Canadian public radio on the way to work, so I get lots of Newfoundland folk and classical music. I'm a huge fan of indie rock and acoustic folk. Gospel rap and hiphop is important to me in Detroit and I like two-step dancing to country and western.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Storms roll over Thunder Bay from a rock on Isle Royale, the sunset over the Grand Canyon, the calmness of a fresh Michigan snowfall in the city.
