About Me

CURRENT MISSION

I have been listening to a podcast called Coffee Break French and I am excited see how well I do in Quebec!

ABOUT ME

I used to be a gymnast. I am a film student at UT. I am a vegan (mostly, a bit more relaxed when I travel). I try to live my life in an environmentally conscious way. I have a 1979 Suzuki 425 motorcycle. I like to breakdance and salsa dance. I like to draw, write, act and entertain. I like to make people laugh and I don't mind laughing myself. If you let me stay with you I will help you around the house with the chores and I will walk around your place on my hands!

Interests

I really enjoy meeting new people, learning and speaking new languages. I am quite good at Spanish and am trying to juggle another romantic language now, FRENCH! I frequently listen to a podcast called Coffee Break French to and from my way to school on my bicycle. I go to school at the University of Texas and I study film there. I am currently working on a zombie trailer for my Advanced Visual Effects class and an animation of animals for my Digital Animation class. School is fun but this semester is kickin' my butt and I could use a break. I love to travel and have never been to Canada, but am so excited to finally get to come. Oh! I also have a reaaallly old japanese motorcycle that I love riding (even though it hardly ever works... :/ haha!)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

While traveling in Oaxaca, Mexico this past summer I met a beautiful girl who lives in Montreal. Needless to say she left me awestruck.

There is a Chinese saying that reads: 'He who has not traveled to the Great Wall of China is only half a man.' I am a whole man! ;)

The main thing that never fails to leave me awestruck is people's capacity to show an immense amount generosity and hospitality. My heart has been warmed and humbled in every city and country that I have traveled to and I am addicted! I need more. I can not wait for my next trip and to become more involved in the Couchsurfing community so that I may be a generous host to those on the road. :D
