ABOUT ME

A 30 year career in education(teaching 3rd-8th grade) provided opportunities to coach swimming, basketball, football. Apprenticed as a luthier(learning how to work on acoustic instruments) and I have "pickin parties"(gatherings to play music). I am a rider coach for Harley-Davidson Rider's Edge Motorcycle Academy as well as the Motorcycle Ohio Program. I enjoy laughing and helping people get together to have fun. I believe our differences are our solutions to cultural conflict. Let me get to know you and your culture.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have yet to have a "CS" experience, but, having lived in Cleveland 11 years I have had many, many people stop as they traverse the U.S.A. Cleveland is right on the way from the right to the left coast and lots of people know they are welcome in my home.

Interests

I am interested in learning how to help bring about peace in my neighborhood as well as the world. I am interested in being able to travel by reading. I love to entertain myself with my music. My friends know they can stop by unannounced and make music in my back yard. I enjoy reading by the fire as it snows. I delight in a game of pool and beer with my friends.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

As a rider coach one of the most humbling experiences I have had is to watch the development of novice riders learn the basic skills and in a very short time become competent and confident with their skills. My mission as a coach is to help as many women as I can to learn to ride as I see this area as one that has been male dominated.
