About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Have a lot of fun at different places and meet cool people from around the world :)

ABOUT ME

I am an easy going person. I try to have a lot of fun and be open minded for a lot of stuff, especially sports. No problems with getting along with different characters.

PHILOSOPHY

I like to meet new interesting people. Life is not only being by yourself and about work but about having fun too.

Sophie Marceu in James Bond: There's no point living, if you can't feel alive.

Why I'm on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Started using couch surfing in San Francisco, but found a beautiful place to stay for longer pretty soon.

Used it a lot in Sri Lanka both to travel around the country and inside Colombo. Because I had my own flat there, I didn't need a couch ;) But there is a really nice CS community in Colombo which I already miss. Also had a really good time in Thailand with CS, met so many interesting people.

Interests

Sports - both active and passive. I am swimming since I was a child. But also a lot of other sports like Tennis, Diving, Athletics, Running, Surfing etc.

Holidays - I like to see nice places in the world. Getting to know other people and exchanging stories is always fun!

Music, Movies & Books

Movies: Dark Knight, Inception, Gladiator, Star Wars, Lord of the Rings

Music: Anything from relaxing music, party stuff to soundtracks (I love Hans Zimmer)

Books: mostly crime stories, Mary Higgins Clark, Jo Nesbo & John Grisham

One Amazing Thing I've Done

Capri - such an amazing island. The island of the sun and such a beautiful water :)

Norway - very interesting country. Awesome nature and also a lot of fun stuff to do e.g. cliff diving at the Fjord in Trondheim.

London - I studied there for around 9 months but were doing more swimming then than going to the university. Found some pretty cool friends there!

Thailand, Krabi - Deep Water Solo with a cliff dive from 18m!

Teach, Learn, Share

I know pretty much about swimming. So if you wanna chat about big meets, swimming in different countries or training programs....no problem for me :) I could also help you improve your swimming.

What I Can Share With Hosts

Experience in living abroad (different countries), philosophy, some political and law stuff.
A lot about sports. I am really interested in aquatic sports, but also Football (Germany = World Champion! Yes!) or Tennis.

Countries I've Visited

Austria, Belgium, Czech Republic, France, Greece, Italy, Maldives, Netherlands, Norway, Spain, Switzerland, Thailand, Tunisia, Turkey

Countries I've Lived In

Germany, Sri Lanka, United Kingdom, United States
