ABOUT ME

We are a couple. I am Joe, I am 26 years old and I am from Chichester, England. My girlfriend is Georgia, she is 23 years old and is from Melbourne, Australia.

We met in Australia when I went there travelling over 2 years ago. After we met, we saved up some money and came travelling to South America, and Central America. We started in Argentina in January 2013 and we are finishing in Mexico City in January 2014.

We consider ourselves to be very social people and love learning about local cultures, local ways of life, and most of all of course, having fun.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

We have not yet participated in CouchSurfing through this website. However, we have met people on this trip who we have stayed with and have had amazing experiences with.

When we return to Melbourne, Australia, we would love to host travellers who are interested in staying in Melbourne and seeing what there is to do there.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

As above, we have not yet had any couchsurfing experience through this site.

Morceaux de musique, films et livres

We have a similar taste in Music that is very broad, especially after all the places we have visited. We have an eclectic music taste, love everything from The Rolling Stones, Janis Joplin, The Black Keys, Talking Heads and The Doors to Artful Dodgers, Angus and Julia Stone, Manu Chao, Gypsy Kings, Marvin Gaye and House of Wax. We basically just like good music. Especially live music!

As for movies, Quentin Tarrantino is a favourite as are old classics such as Casino.

We both read a lot, no genre in particular.

Une aventure extraordinaire que j'ai vécue

Well we have seen a lot of amazing things on this trip alone. For me, San Blas Islands in the Darien Gap between Colombia and Panama.

That would be up there with the Taj Mahal and Machu Piccu.

Enseignez, apprenez, partagez

We taught English in a community in Ecuador to children aged from 10-14 years old (ish). We are both trying to improve our Spanish. Georgie speaks very good Spanish and I am slowly improving!
