It's all good!
I'm always easy to get along with, and have fun in nearly any situation. My job leaves me with 6 months off out of the year, so when I'm off I try to explore and look for adventure. I've been all over the world and if I haven't been somewhere, I want to go. I want to see anything I haven't seen. I love to meet people and always have an open mind about places and culture. I appreciate people's kindness and I try to help out where I can. I usually give individuals the benefit of the doubt, and truly believe that most people mean well.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I'm new to couchsurfing, but when I heard about it I figured it would be a good way to meet nice people and open opportunities to see new places.
I spend half my time traveling anywhere on the inland waterways from New Orleans, to St. Paul, Chicago, Cincinnati, Corpus Christi, and the Florida panhandle for work, which often doesn't feel like work. While I'm off I spend my time traveling. I stay active through skateboarding and running, and usually visit the local skateparks in whatever city I may find myself in. I was born, raised, and live in the city but I love to get out and go hiking, camping, and biking. I'm really into art and also do some drawing, although when I show people my work they usually think I'm more talented than I think I am. I'm definitely a foodie, and I love to cook. I really enjoy tasting new and interesting foods, beer, and wine. I can't think of any time when I'm not listening to music, and I'm constantly searching for new stuff to listen to. I try to avoid tourist traps (I do enjoy museums though, and some places you just have to see regardless). So when I'm traveling I'm interested in the hidden eats and bars that only the locals know about. Most of all, I just love meeting new people and making friends.
Music, Movies, and Books
I read almost anything I can get my hands on. I love dark horror novels and movies but I've been on a historical biography kick lately. I also read a lot of graphic novels. As far as music goes, my taste is broad. To me there are great and talented artists in every genre. You might catch me listening to some Soul, Country, Rap, Rock and Roll, Blues, Jazz, Zydeco, Funk, Classical, and some Electronic. Music that's raw, gritty, not over-produced, and full of feeling is music I can jam to. My four favorite movies are Pulp Fiction, Ferris Bueller's Day Off, 28 Days Later, and Forrest Gump. So that pretty sums up my taste in movies. I don't really watch TV unless it's football, basketball, or boxing.
