I grew up in a small lively city called Michelstadt – 70km south of Frankfurt am Main, in the middle of Germany.
Born and raised there I always wanted to travel and discover as much as I could. I used to travel with relatives of me, but right now it is time to do something different something more fitting my personality. Of course there have been some journeys with friends, which i really really liked. Right now I am willing to increase the time on such trips.
During my studies of industrial engineering at TU Darmstadt, i got the chance to meet people and their cultur from many parts of the world. And what can i say, i really liked it, and still enjoy the chance to get to know new people.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Like i have written before, i got the chance to meet new people at the campus. Several of them shared their experience of Couchsurfing with me. I really like the idea of whats behind it. Travelling is getting easier and also meeting new people from all around the world. In the last few years I understood how travelling and moving has plenty of versions and perspective and couchsurfing perfectly represents one of them.
One big benefit is to get to know the culture as well as tips where you should spend time, and where not. And all this informations are from people who know what they are talking about ;D
Also i really like the idea that people with the same interests get together in such an easy way and share a part of their lives with "strangers".
Also I'm planning to go on a vacation for several month next year. Therefore im willing to find out, if this type of vacation - sleeping on someones couch - fits my idea of doing a vacation like this.
