About Me

ABOUT ME

I studied Cultural Sciences with a focus on Popular Music so music is indeed one of my passions, traveling is another one of mine. I travelled a lot in Europe, hitchhiked down from Germany to Greece. I spent 9 months in South America after college. Actually, I live in Bremen in north-western Germany and work in gardening and landscaping. I'm an easy-going person, who enjoys the company of nice and respectful people.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Couchsurfing to me is a extraordinary opportunity to meet people from all over the world, get in contact and share something that is more important than national or cultural backgrounds. I think to some extend couchsurfing can open minds and make the world a little bit better (sounds cheesy, I know).
So I'm really looking forward to meeting some of you out there!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

In 2011, I took part in a hitchhiking race.
It was organized to collect donations for german foundation which initiates drinking water projects in countries such as Guatemala or Burkina Faso.
The race led us from Hamburg in the north of Germany down south through Austria, Slovenia, Croatia, Montenegro, Albania and finally Greece. 2500km in about 2 weeks. In the end about 120 hitchhikers met up in Preveza, Greece! That was a great experience!
