Deep listening and creative liberation
I'm married to an awesome woman named Frederica who is an environmental ethics professor at the local university. I am very extroverted, the last guy to leave. I like puns, haikus, and cheesy bread.
Mother Teresa said: If we do not have peace, it is because we have forgotten that we belong to each other. The focus of my life is to heal the divides that make us forgot this essential interdependence.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I am new to CS (at time of writing, April 2013) but have been an unoffical couchsurfer countless times and a host to countless couchsurfers over the last 12 years of adventuring.
My craziest "couchsurfing" experience was when I went hiking too late in the day on the undeveloped Isla del Sol in Bolivia and got caught in a storm and in the darkness without a flashlight or raincoat. Shivering with cold and lost in the darkness I bumped into a local who took me to his one-room home and shared with me his one extra set of dry clothes and let me crash there until the morning when I was able to find my way home. The couchsurfing experience saved my skin!
