I am an active outdoor easygoing person who loves adventure. I practice yoga, love hiking, biking, kayaking and other outdoor activities. I am a massage therapist and glider pilot.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I have given people accommodation through older and now defunct websites and decided to tryout couch surfing mainly at my children's suggestion. I travel to meet people and get new ideas and ways to see the world. I love to hear how locals view the areas I visit.

I don't have a particular favourite but enjoy a variety of music books and movies. Although I do like to listen to Enya every now and again.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

There are many amazing things I have done in my life, like bring up 4 beautiful children, swimming through an underwater cave in the Barrier Reef at 40 meters, abseiling down a waterfall in the Blue Mts but my most recent amazing thing for me was to fly a glider to 21000 ft above South Island NZ. Could see the sea on both sides.
