About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Quit job: done. Travel world: in progress. Afterwords: who knows...
ABOUT ME
A friend describes me as: "Friendly, curious, and easygoing. He likes to make things, and learn about all sorts of things. He hikes, he bikes; he paddles and skis (though not on the same day, as far as I know). And he's tidy and doesn't snore!"
PHILOSOPHY
Never be afraid to learn new things.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I've never *officially* hosted anyone, but I have taking in a lost couch surfer. My roommates and I have often hosted friends, friends of friends, and so on, and one day a friend of a friend found a lost couch surfer in a bar (their contact didn't show up), so we took them in for the night.
Interests
People watching, reading, cycling, exploring without a plan (even though it still scares me), hiking, cross-country skiing, canoeing, live acoustic music, cooking, and trying things I've never tried before.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Best place in the world I've been: Yukon Territory, Canada.
Everyone knows Canada is big. I've grown up here, I know it's big. But you don't really get a sense of the scale of things until you head up there. Beautiful, vast, and wild.
