Lover of life and all good things, adventurer in the broadest sense, player of guitar and mandolin, singer of songs, writer of poems, and seeker of the things behind the veil. Happiest when I'm sitting next to a clear clean river, guitar in one hand and beer in the other, good friends nearby and nowhere to be for days on end. Most of my days are spent conducting educational research and working to improve the education system in Egypt or playing with my two wonderful daughters.
