About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Making sense out of the madness
ABOUT ME
I am an avid traveller with many experiences worth sharing. I have lived in or been in about 40 US States, Canada, the UK, the Netherlands and a bunch of other European countries, Australia, and New Zealand. I am beginning student of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, and I really enjoy cooking meals for people. I don't drink, smoke or anything else for that matter and really am sort of a quiet soul. That does not mean I am boring I have just out grown that old hard charger attitude. Nothing wrong with a bit of Geordie Shore on MTV
PHILOSOPHY
I don't believe in helping anyone I believe in empowering anyone with the ability to achieve a higher return on the investment they have made in their lives. The return on investment in human capital is by far more important than the investment in material things.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Currently I am a post-graduate university student in psychology and counselling. That keeps me busy as I study via correspondance so it takes a bit of planning. Never the less I just got back from America with a vast new set of experiences, plus volunteer work.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
A bit of positive and negative but nothing bad. I have met some really good people and current surfing on a couch in Brisbane. Brisbane is a bit small for my tastes. I also have had experiences in Chicago, New York, LA, and Rio de Janeiro.
Interests
I am interested in anyone who is interested in human rights, social justice, the environment, and equality for all. But on a lighter side, really I am just seeking some interesting people to have a coffee or tea with, share a meal cooked by me and lounge around.

Music, Movies, and Books
I like everything from classic rock through to electronic and house. A am a bit of techno geek. The last books I read were The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo and a bunch of stuff about psychology and counselling. Watch "City of God" or "Elite Force".
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
A couple of years a go I was involved (caught in the middle) of a full on gun fight in a favela in Rio de Janeiro between the cops and the drug dealers who control the area! I literally mean bullets over the head stuff. I saw my first dead body from a murderous rampage. It is not detached and emotionless like the movies.
Teach, Learn, Share
Real knowledge about either North American or South American culture. Anything in depth the United States from the most anti-American American you will ever meet! I seriously mean that. Also a bit about Brazil also. I know Brazil pretty well.
