About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To discover the world, meet people, see beautiful and different places, and meet all different kinds of people!
ABOUT ME
Colin: I'm from a small mountain town in Colorado called Steamboat Springs. Little ski town with a lot of local flavor! (and some of the finest dry snow to be had in CO, and a lot of it!) Ashley grew up in a military family and has lived all over the US and England. We both just graduated college in 2011 and have been working in the service industry; I have been chef'in it and Ashley has been bartending at a brewery. We love the mountains, skiing/riding, good cuisine, and craft beer. We are currently embarking on our biggest adventure we have had yet, spending over three months in France, Spain, Italy, and Greece (and a few more for shorter periods). We have had the most amazing hosts while traveling and would love to meet some more!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
We are easy going, friendly, and love hanging out with new people. We can always help in the kitchen and strive to make sure we leave the place better than when we arrived.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
These would be our first experiences Couchsurfing because we have been using Airbnb throughout our journey. Like we said, we have met some amazing people and we are so thankful that the website afforded us the otherwise impossible opportunity to meet the people we have along the way.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
This trip!
We recently went on a hut-trip up Vail Pass and had to hike 5 hours in a blizzard to get to the hut. It was nuts.
During the ski season, we go back country skiing on snowmobiles on Buff Pass in Steamboat (next to Mt. Werner). We have full avalanche gear when we ride. It's definitely a unique thing we do.
