ABOUT ME

I'm a student, but I don't study nearly as much as I should. I'm usually busy being distracted by my road bike, or discovering new music. I'm a vegetarian (want to go vegan again someday). I'm a nutrition major, but I still don't eat very healthily, though I'm slowly going that way.

PHILOSOPHY

I don't have much of anything figured out when it comes to philosophy. More than anything I live my life in such a way that I try to have a positive impact on everything and everyone I come in contact with. I also believe that there is a natural order to the universe that demands a great deal of respect, and as such, it's important that we live respectfully of our planet, our ecosystem, our community, and everyone around us.

So far all I've done is posted up my couch, and I'm hoping I will be a seasoned host soon.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've crashed on a few friends couches around California on last minute road trips before, but not much beyond that. I'm still young!

Música, películas y libros

Lately I've been listening to alot of folkish bands, like Computer vs. Banjo, Beirut, Fleet Foxes, but into all kinds of music. Give me anything written by Thoreau, Emerson, or Bukowski and I'll devour it. As far as movies, I am a big fan of Wes Anderson, but also love flicks like Memento, Lucky # Slevin, Fight Club, Usual Suspects, and alot of Tarantinos stuff.

I also love all Hitchcock, and old crime movies (Bullit is a favorite).

I count myself lucky to live in such a beautiful place, and have seen more amazing views from mountaintops and beaches than I can remember.
