ABOUT ME

I'm a retired media services specialist, I like to tinkerer, being a grandfather, father to the bestest daugher in the world (who roped me into couchsurfing). I prefer the outdoors rather than the indoors. Love both the city life and country life. I prefer a tent to a motel (most of the time). Have always wanted to host a foreign exchange student and CS is a good fit for my life now. I aspire to help someone learn English as a second language.

I couchsurfed with my daughter in Central Oregon and had a pleasant experience.

Interesses

Mazamas, rock hunting, stargazing, snowshoeing, reading, riding a bike, hiking, fixing an orange 1972 VW super beetle. I like to work in the yard until my back hurts, then I look at it and say "&^%&" why am I doing this? I like to go to garage sales and estate sales at times. Would love to share a city walk with you on Tuesday or Thursday nights.
