Hello there, my name is Jon and I am lucky enough to be traveling the world for a year with my girlfriend Kara. We have spent the past 6 months in South East Asia and are hoping to spend another 6 througout Europe. We are both 26 years of age and leaving Canada for our first solo trip of a lifetime. We've been together for 6 years now, both have completed our post secondary schooling and have built careers back home... but left everything behind in order to make this trip possible.

Por qué estoy en Couchsurfing

Kara and I are interested in couch surfing, not only to help with cost of our lengthly trip throughout Europe, but we also enjoy meeting new people from all walks of life, hearing about the different perspectives the world has to offer and learning from the locals of each county.

Intereses

I guess we'll try anything once! Besides our obvious interest in exploring new places, Kara and I are both passionate about the great outdoors! Kara is a yoga lover and we both enjoy cooking which goes hand in hand with eating, my favorite part.

Kara reads a LOT of fiction but more recently has taken an interest in health books and documentaries. I read misteries and we both listen to all different types of music.

Besides the opportunity to be traveling the world, I recently hiked to the base camp of Mount everest while Kara took part in a 30 day yoga teacher training program.
