ABOUT ME

I tend to be a pretty laid back guy. I get excited about the things that I love. I'm generally a very happy person. I can be cynical at times, but also very optimistic...I know, a strange combination.

PHILOSOPHY

I try not to have any overwhelming beliefs. I feel that they get in the way of life. I do believe that people should try to be kind to one another and help each other out. Life should be fun, and full of adventure. I think we can all help each other do that. I'm also an Agnostic. I respect everyones beliefs as long as they respect mine, or lack there of.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I don't get much time to travel with my job. So I'm hoping to host some surfers, and make some good connections for the future when I'm able to go out and surf myself.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I am new to couchsurfing, so none. I've heard great things about it though.

Intereses

My biggest love is food. I'm a cook at Five Bistro in St. Louis. We do all local and sustainable grown food. We do in house butchering as well. It's the way food should be. I'm also a big nerd, and fan of the entertainment industry. I love music, movies, books, TV, and comics. All sorts.

I could write about this section forever.
Books: Harry Potter, Lord of the Rings, and Hitch Hiker's Guide.
Authors: Vonnegut, Fitzgerald, Hemmingway, Kerouac, and Klostermann. Just to name a few.
It'd be easier to name movies I don't like to be honest. Star Wars is my all time favorite though.
TV: Dexter, Walking Dead, Arrow, How I Met Your Mother, It's Always Sunny, and The League. Those are what I'm currently reading.

All of my awestruck moments come from traveling. Seeing beautiful things I've never seen, doing things I've never done, and meeting new people. That's why I joined couchsurfing.
