ABOUT ME

Heather and I (I'm doing all the writing)are a couple of love birds just dying to get out of the working world and spend a couple of months bumming around Spain, Portugal, Italy, Greece and the British Isles. My passion is adventure and my main loves (beyond Heather) are live music, food and nature. There's nothing better under the sun for a man than to eat drink and be merry! Heather's a super-sweet red-head that loves the same...travel, music, culture, food...and me. We're both just fun-loving people that don't get hung up on much. I'm a bit more extroverted than she and she's a bit more sensible than I...we balance each other out well. I'm a jokester, she's a snuggler. We're taking on Europe with no motivation beyond enjoying ourselves, taking our time and really diving in to the culture rather that seeing it from a tour-bus window. Beyond that, we have no idea what we're going to do with our lives...maybe open a pub and have lots of babies?!

PHILOSOPHY

Eat, Drink and Be Merry, for tomorrow we may die. Live in the now, because life is what slips by while you're planning tomorrow or worrying about yesterday. Try to stay positive regardless of what you're dealing with. Make people feel better about themselves. Be sarcastic and funny. Three rules: no needles, no prison, no prostitutes. Ever. Beyond that, if it might be fun and it won't hurt anybody, dive in!

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I'm just getting started, and looking for great people for us to stay with in Spain, Italy and Greece. Maybe the English/Scottish countryside as well. Once I get back and settle down, I'll be MORE than happy to show people around my great city of St. Louis, or anywhere else I might end up. My couch WILL be open as soon as I own one!
