Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'd like to make mermories that I won't be able to make in a Hotel or Hostel,
get in touch with locals, hopefully make friends with them.

I've often visited cities in which I weren't really able to filter out the really charismatic & specific activities that I would have liked to experience.
But, let's be honest, the financial aspect is also quite important for me, 'cause I'm no Millionare's son, I ain't no fortunate one.

Interests

Sports isn't really for me anymore, since I've had an operation in my right knee.
I have been an active soccer player most of my life (about 15 years) but I sadly couldn't coutinue.
Luckily, I was able to keep up my regular roll on my Skateboard.

I'm into pub games like snooker & darts (which I sadly cannot perform very well) and foozball - or is it fussball in english? Anyway, that's a thing I can do quite well, let's just say, I've won some Beers at this game. I've just started to play tournaments on a regular basis. Awesome game.

Music, Movies, and Books

Well, it's hard to categorize me here.

I'm into several kinds of music, at the moment it's Doom Metal, Punkrock, Garagerock and Hip-Hop - but I also listen to, Dub, Ska, and Jazz.
Electronic Music can of course be cool, too.

My Favourite Bands are Black Sabbath, King Gizzard and the Lizard Wizard (the name only makes 10 % of my Love for this Band- and come on, the Band's name is hilarious.), Lee Scratch Perry and Black Flag.
I do music on my own, from time to time. My best friend has got a drum-machine & an analog sythesizer, so we jam quite a lot - I'm up for a good Jam day & night.
I also know how to play the trumpet - but I won't carry it on a Trip.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Once, on a Ty Segall gig, I was in first row, I got on Stage - because Ty pointed on me to do an experiment - and I surfed the crowd to give a high five to soundman Sam, their mixing guy, and back on Stage to give a high five in the inverse direction.
After I came back on stage, I was passed a mix and could shout the chorus with the Band. That was quite an ecstatic moment.
