About Me

I enjoy soccer and traveling. I enjoy seeing the world and having new experiences. Seeing new places and talking to the locals about their lifestyle is just one of the most interesting things in the world. Everybody has a different outlook on life which is influenced by their surroundings. It is just interesting to see how different people are while at the same time being similar.

I love everything about soccer. I can talk about it for a long time with the high-level tactics and techniques. There are very few things as satisfying as playing a game of soccer. You can just forget about everything and smile for the whole game. I don't take it too seriously when playing anymore as we are not playing for the world cup. Still extremely competitive, but in a complete happy and fun way.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I have only been to places on the west coast of the USA and all over Mexico apart from Brazil during the World Cup. I want to see more of the world while deciding what I really want to in life.

I am planning on traveling through Central America, with Nicaragua being the north-most country and going south through Costa Rica, Panama, and the east coast of South America. I would like to meet locals from those areas and have a drink and talk about the place. I think this would be a great way to meet new people while traveling and seeing more of the area apart from just touristy places. Given that I know Spanish, I can have interesting conversations all over these places. Or if the host wants to practice English, I can do that as well with the Spanish to help through any language questions.

There is of course also the concern of budget. This would help keep my costs down which would allow me to travel for longer. I can help out with all types of things, especially computers.

I love soccer, traveling, books, TV shows, and movies. I enjoy talking about all of my interests in an intellectual fashion.

Music, Movies, and Books

I enjoy all kinds of music with all the new hits to the oldies. My favorite movie changes with the times as I see great movies all the time. Books have to be the Harry Potter books even if from my childhood.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I was in Brazil for the World Cup in 2014 and it has to be one of the most electrifying atmospheres you can experience for soccer. It was just a festival of soccer.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach soccer. I want to learn about the local places I travel to. I can share half of a great discussion.

If you know how to cook and would like to teach, I would love to learn that. Actually, I would like to learn about any skill.

What I Can Share with Hosts

The biggest thing I can share is soccer expertise. If you need someone trained in soccer, I can totally help with that. There are certain changes that can be made to the use of a technique that will improve you considerably. For some reason, soccer knowledge at the expert level seems to be closely held or accidentally stumbled upon by the best players. I love analyzing those little details and always love sharing them. If you also just want to understand the game more, I love talking about the tactics and the general objectives to win.

You will also find a party partner, I am always in the mood to go out and have fun or just be great company. I love watching movies, so if a good one came out, I will totally invite you to go watch it. I am also a decent cook with my best being steak.
