I'm zany as heck. Very goofy and always striving to make people laugh. I'm very open, and no conversation topic is out of bounds for me.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I don't travel much these days, and I live too far away from Disney to get couch requests. But I believe in the mission of Couchsurfing, so I don't think I'll ever be able to leave. This site brings people together in the most wonderful way, and should never be used as a free place to stay. It's, in my opinion, the only way to get right to the heart of a place you're visiting.
Making music (I play guitar and drums), Muay Thai, hookah, traveling, reading, video games, beer, anime, bird watching, kayaking, hiking, counter culture stuff.
Music, Movies, and Books
- I'm all over the place with my music tastes. Jazz, folk, prog metal, pop, gypsy jazz, and latin rock/jazz are some of my favorite genres.
- I like fiction and fantasy. Favorite authors are Herman Hesse and Brandon Sanderson.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I sold everything I owned and backpacked/busked for a couple years straight. I've been on tour with a well known ex pop star.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach acoustic fingerstyle guitar techniques, and anything you want to know about private aviation (though, no one wants to know about that unless they're really rich). I'm also happy to swap book recommendations, because I love reading (:
I can cook some pretty cool American style dishes, but the quality is hit or miss.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I always make a conscious effort to make my stay an unforgettable experience for my hosts. Whether that be through humor, music, drinking, deep discussion, dancing or any other thing that the host enjoys, I strive to make it happen.
I'm also very discerning with my couch requests. If you receive a request from me, you can rest assured that you are one of very few, and I genuinely want to stay with YOU. I'd rather book an Airbnb than stay with someone that I don't feel would enjoy my time there as much as I do.
