The first time I heard about the couchsurfing portal was this year when I traveled in southeast asia. Since then it came across me in different situations from different persons and I really liked the idea!
Since I now have the posibilty to host couchsurfers myself I joined the community.
Once I experienced meeting local people while traveling through a foreign country / culture who showed me arround from their point of view I truely want all my journeys to be atleast a little like that.
