To act upon my gut instincts, travel the world, tell great stories, have great connections with people, and have authentic and eye-opening experiences.

ABOUT ME

Living most of my life in St. Louis, MO, I've never felt like this has been my true home. I really want to leave America when I graduate college as I've always felt I'd fit in more elsewhere. I crave to be in a culture that fits with my mindset and ideals and strongly believe in good relationships and genuine connection with people. I'm a big believer in challenging things that don't seem right and going with my instincts. I love hearing stories and telling them too, which is why I want to be a filmmaker. In addition to film, I love music and enjoy writing songs and always dream of starting a band and going on tour. I like to talk about things and question things a lot and love staying up late hours of the night having long discussions.

PHILOSOPHY

My feelings and thoughts are very important to me and if I get a natural feeling than I'll try to stick with it. I always want there to be genuineness in the experiences I have and always want to find passion in what I do and never settle for anything less. I live for incredible experiences, following the feelings I get, and great people and connections.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I'm quite new to CouchSurfing (am going to Europe for school) but hope to get more involved with it. CouchSurfing appeals to me much more than hostels or hotels because I'm very interested in staying with people who live in the place I'm traveling to and meeting them, having discussions, sharing opinions, etc.

Music, Movies, and Books

Love many different kinds of films-Ingmar Bergman is one of my favorite filmmakers and always enjoy watching Swedish movies a lot. Lars Von Trier, movies that stir up new or interesting emotions in people.

I'm a big Bob Dylan fan and like songs that could be poems if the music wasn't there. Have a wide range of musical taste...from alternative rock to classical to opera to celtic...I love music!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The most recent thing: took an 8 hour hike across the tops of the Swiss Alps and saw some of the most beautiful things.
