About Me

Travel the country and play some music too.

Well, my name's Jon, and I'm trying to get away from Portsmouth Ohio and back to wonderful Albuquerque New Mexico. I'm 21, and my favorite passtimes are reading, playing and listening to music, and painting. These days I try to eat healthier and I'm a bit of a minimalist.

You can't go anywhere in front of a TV.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Right now I'm participating by trying to couch surf a bit, haha. When I get to my destination though and get my own place my couch is always gonna be open though, promise. :D

In Huntington West Virginia I stayed with three different groups of people. My favorite was when I stayed with these fellows Gordy and Sam, and we hung out and played music constantly, one of the best times of my life actually.

Well, until my paint supplies were stolen from my car I painted a bit. It was usually inspired by surrealism (favorite painter is Yves Tanguy, he's the shit), I play music, these days it's just me and an acoustic guitar though. Also, I read a lot, usually horror, Stephen King lately.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: King Crimson, Iron Maiden, Megadeth, David Bowie, Faith No More, Portishead, Fleetwood Mac, Black Sabbath, Tool, Citizen Cope, Fates Warning, Kreator, The Who, Rush, Elton John, (forever and ever, etc.)

Movies: I'm not gonna name these off, but I love old classic horror movies, zombies, that kind of thing, but I like funnies too, and pretty much anything else.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Got to hang out on stage with Green Jelly while they were playing, it was awesome, and shaking Dave Mustaine's hand in hopes his guitar playing could rub off on me.
