About Me
CURRENT MISSION
At the moment my major mission is to complete my degree in history. Also, if possible fit as much travel in during my summer break as possible. As the saying goes, "all work and no play makes Jack a dull boy" and I hope to avoid that.
ABOUT ME
Overall I am relaxed and mellow type of person. I am not eccentric by any means, at least I do not think so. Most people would say I am patient, which I truly am. Like many teenagers I enjoy video-games, sports, television and movies, but I am not a big on parties. Although, my travel buddies in Vietnam may differ with that statement. Also, I have always taken an interest in the world and its many varying peoples, cultures, and landscapes. The discovery channel and national geographic have been beside me since I began school.
PHILOSOPHY
The Past is to be respected and acknowledged, but not to be worshiped. It is our future in which we will find our greatness.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
At the moment I can offer little to others. I have no place of my own, so I cannot offer anything in that sense. However, I would be happy to answer questions about British Columbia (my knowledge is not that great). I am proud of the place I live in and would be happy to share my favorite aspects with those willing to ask.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
None so far, but I am hoping to gain some experience soon!

Music, Movies, and Books
Music - Everything and anything, BUT! No country music, that is my one no no.
Movies - Once again everything and anything. Some personal favorites... Kingdom of Heaven, Lord of the Rings, The Notebook, The Departed, and hundreds more.
Books - Fantasy, adventure. I enjoy quest based novels where the character must overcome some great obstacle. The only series I could say I truly loved were the Chronicles of the Necromancer and the Fallen Kings Cycle.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Personally, seeing the entrance way to Halong Bay in Vietnam was spectacular and I would suggest the experience to anyone. Hopefully add something a little more amazing soon.
Teach, Learn, Share
For those willing or wanting to learn English I could try my best to teach you what I know. I would be glad to pass on any random knowledge or facts I had about any subject. But do not expect me to sit there and just start listing off everything, I would present the facts in the moment not on command. I am always willing to learn new things but if I had to choose one... I would love to enhance my German. I have some schooling in German but outside of the classroom I never use it and I fear it might disappear soon.
