ABOUT ME

I'm a first year grad student here in Iowa City. I can be a little shy when I first meet someone, but warm up to people fairly quickly. An early bird and an avid runner. I love trying new things and meeting new people. I recently had my first experience as a couch surfer, and love the whole idea.

PHILOSOPHY

Live and let live. Everyone is a different with a different background and experiences, and that is something that should be appreciated.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Though my trip couchsurfing trip wasn't through the website, I'm very fond of the experience. Not only does staying with someone save you money to enjoy the city more, but they also have great "insider" information for people not familiar with the area. I've only done it a few times, but will definitely be doing it again.

I've spent almost my entire life here in Iowa, only recently have I started to venture away and I can't get enough of it. I love learning about new places, meeting different people, and hearing about new possibilities. Getting out of where you are really broadens your horizon, is a great temporary escape from routine, and puts into perspective what it is that you're doing in life.
