About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Living, without thinking too much about the future. Wishing and believing not wanting and needing. Finding my way, path, mission... every day new. Giving myself to the flow of life. On and on...
ABOUT ME
I was born in Hamburg and I grew up in Berlin. After my graduation from Highschool and two more years of living, working, traveling... I went to Munich for studying. I finished my studies but am going a different direction now, because I felt that it wasn't right for me and that I am looking for something else, rather than to make a career. So my interests now are living more and more zero-waste, organic food, thinking about and starting to live new ways to narrow my carbon-footprint and contribute something to the growing movement of consciousness about our future and the future of the planet, we live on.
Together with my wife Anna (we met in acting school), I live in Berlin again.
I eat mostly vegetarian food and I am living as far and as often as I can by the blood-type-diet by Peter J. D'Adamo (in my case the one for A). I have an intolerance for gluten and I avoid sugar and also dairy, as far as I can. I rarely ever drink alcohol.
My future wish is to live somwhere on the countryside. But maybe my wife and I will travel the world first with as little money as possible. Maybe even no money at all.

I have little experience with couchsurfing but great trust in people. I hope to be able to host travelers myself sometime when I live in a bigger place. For now I am looking forward to be hosted by nice people and share some time with them.

Music, Movies, and Books
I like good music. Classic, Jazz, Folk and everything inbetween.
Concerning films, I mostly like good documentaries, that deal with a serious subject but also make you laugh. I also like feature films but they have to have a deeper meaning beneath the story. Mostly not just for simple entertainment. They have to be demanding and entertaining. I like films of Godard, Truffaut, Jarmush, Wenders...but also Lord of the Rings, Harry Potter or Matrix...
Last year I read "Siddharta" by Hermann Hesse that really got me and taught me some lessons that I bear in my heart since. I also read "Mr. Aufziehvogel" (The Wind-Up Bird Chronicle) by Haruki Murakami, which also kept me quite focused.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Mountainclimbing in Austria at age of six with my Dad (above the clouds). Never again so high since then, but the remembrance is still there.
Doing a highschool exchange year in the USA in Massachusetts. Thanks to that, I don't have to think much when writing these lines.
Doing a roadtrip with my Dad at the end of that exchange year, crosscountry from eastcoast to westcoast. All the national parks we went to were just great.
Teach, Learn, Share
Yes. I think sharing involves teaching and learning. Sharing time, knowledge, experience, joy, quietness, and whatever else that's good.
