Overview
About Me
I grew up in sunny Lisbon, Portugal, with a fantastic family that loves art and has been pushing and motivating me to explore and experience since I was a little kid, being the main factor that made me discover film, the art that drinks from all the others.
Renting movies with my younger brother, carrying VHS cassettes from and to the store whenever we were allowed to. Some days even watching two to three movies. As I grew older my need for expressing myself and my hunger for creation made me buy a camera, starting to play around with some friends shooting short films inspired by different artists and movies that worked as references for our low budget but honest efforts. Interesting and kind stories that I will never forget, that makes me laugh melancholically whenever I think about them. I'm currently living in rainy Manchester, United Kingdom, studying filmmaking and still fighting for the same beliefs.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Love to travel and always managed to do that a lot growing up. I was forced by my family at the time, as I was a young, I always preferred to stay and play with my friends instead of going in long and boring family trips. I managed to grow up a bit and find out that doing a little bit of both is important. Exploring the human component, visiting the world while making friends, sharing life experiences. Always trying to give more than I take. It sounds cliché but the question was a trap, it was already too cliché to start with...

These are generic tags that will never mirror a human person, I like books but I don't like every book. Should I tag things by names or categories? And then again, would you be patience to go through a list of names that you might not recognize?

A bit too personal for an open profile.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I've managed to stay alive for some time now. Alive and happy.
Teach, Learn, Share
In the American style, also called the zig-zag method or fork switching, the knife is initially held in the right hand and the fork in the left. Holding food to the plate with the fork tines-down, a single bite-sized piece is cut with the knife.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Life experience and a laugh. I'm a great listener but very talkative too. Am I contradicting myself? Can a very talkative person be a great listener? I feel like can I can but we would have to talk about it to find out.
