About Me

I'm a friendly guy who loves to meet cool people.

I'm a firefighter/EMT living in Albuquerque. I've always had this urgent desire to see the world, and it never goes away!

As a firefighter, we all work pretty hard to get along with each other, clean up the firehouse, lots of people come and go in 6 days time and it's not always by choice, so we're very good at playing nice. We cook together, excercise together, sleep in the same room, and we all become very close. And we get to save lives together, and it's the BEST

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I host, I live very close to the airport and the center of the city. Public transportation is not far. I have a spare bedroom, washer/dryer, wifi, garage space, and three cats. Three, LONG HAIRED cats. We keep them out of the spare bedroom though.

I hope I can meet lots of wonderful people and show that Americans are wonderful people too, despite our government.

Music, I love concerts. Heavy Metal, Punk Rock, but I've been known to listen to Louis Armstrong for hours on end. Gotta love the old jazz and blues; son house, sonny boy, frank sinatra, minnie the moocher
Video games, EMT stuff, firefighting stuff, I used to be into martial arts but I don't have the time for it much anymore. I just like hanging out with friends and family really. And cars. Cars are in my family's blood.

Music, Movies, and Books

Heavy Metal, Punk, Jazz, Blues, some classical, some Rap, EDM, some dubstep, I guess I just really like music. I have a hard time with country because I was raised with it.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Burning Man 2016
I really enjoyed Seattle, the beach in Sayulita, the agave fields in Mexico, the circus that is New York, the red desert of Utah, snowboarding in Wolf Creek, riding a sportbike.
Almost dying, many different times. How am I still alive?

What I Can Share with Hosts

New Mexican cooking, I love to cook and, well, you know, firefighters know how to cook! I'm no chef, but I have a few meals that pretty much everyone loves. But then again, I usually only feed firefighters. I might have a harder time feeding vegans.

Countries I’ve Visited

Belgium, Canada, Czech Republic, Germany, Mexico, Netherlands, United Kingdom, United States

Countries I’ve Lived In
