ABOUT ME

I was born in Cleveland, Ohio, USA; as a child I was greatly influenced by my grandparents, who were from Ukraine and Poland, respectively, and always dreamed of living in Eastern Europe. I started in Bucharest and moved to Torun, Poland, where I lived for three years. After Poland I went back to big city life and lived for a year in Moscow; in Russia most of my energy was devoted to photography and writing. I have also worked and travelled in Turkey, Bulgaria, Serbia, Azerbaijan, Georgia, Bosnia, Latvia, Lithuania, Iraq, Japan, Taiwan and Korea, and have toured Russia from Kaliningrad to Moscow, Kazan to Vladivostok. I currently live in Odesa and plan to explore more of Western and Central Ukraine in the near future. My goals for life are to continue traveling and creating and to have my work shown and read around the world. I also paint and would like to move into the world of film.
