Hello I'm Joe and I'm very much addicted to traveling, which I think is a pretty safe addiction, except a few times like when I was stuck up on a mountian in short and t-shirt in snow for a night then had to get helicoptered off in the morning, or the time I feel in crocodile infested water :D and a few more other fun experiences, ut what is life for if not for making the most of it.
I am a happy, kind and talkative person, and love meeting like minded people, actually I like meeting people who aren't like minded as well, cus means I might learn a different prospective on something and might have a chance of a good discussion on something.
I'm not goig to lie, I am a budget traveller. I hitchhike everywhere and camp if I can get away with it, cus I love the great outdoors. I have couch surfed many times, but never through the website although I have had an account for a little while. I think this is because I seem to have good karma and I seem to bump into the right person who offers me a couch.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm on couchsurfing because I love meeting locals actually I take that back I love meeting everyone. I think it's such an amazing idea couchsurfing because because the world is full of amazing caring people (even if it's hard to believe when you watch the news) and this is an amazing connection point for like minded happy travelers.
Of course meeting local people and being able to see that side of a new place is priceless, and the fact it can be done for cheap or free is unbelievable.

Music, Movies, and Books

Favourite book has to be...... this a hard one because if there was a book that was like into the wild, lord of the rings and harry potter all mixed into one then we will have a winner but otherwise I can't decide.
When it comes to films it's also a difficult one :D because all my favorite books are films as well :D I am really easy going I love every type of film from horror to Disney :D
And the same can be said about music, cus if I like it I like it, I think there is amazing and amazingly bad examples of every type mucic.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

:D well I have already mentioned my night on a mountain in snow at -2 in short at t-shirt. so I might have to go with my linked story of getting a walking stick that saved my life through 3 sets of airpot customers by using jedi mind trick and charm, but I was put in a interview room a questioned, but still got throught new Zealand, Australian and uk customers :D win.
